ITALIAN SAUSAGE RAVIOLI, SOUR CREAM, CARAMELIZED ONIONS & CHIVES
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package Giovanni Rana Italian Sausage Ravioli
- 15 g butter, divided
- 1.5 tbsp flour
- 120 ml milk
- 120 ml sour cream
- 6 g chives
- 1 medium yellow onion, cut into strips
- Salt and fresh ground pepper
START COOKING
In a medium pan, melt the butter on medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft and turn golden brown. Set aside.
In a large pan, heat sour cream on low. Season with salt and pepper. Do not boil to prevent curdling/ separation.
Fold in the sour cream and caramelized onions. Season with salt & pepper.
Cook ravioli according to packaging instructions. Strain and toss ravioli in the pan with the sauce. Sprinkle with chives and serve.
