BRAISED BEEF RAVIOLI CARAMELIZED ONIONS AND SAUTÉ PORTABELLO
INGREDIENTS
- 1 package Giovanni Rana Braised Beef ravioli
- 2 portabello mushrooms, cut into 0,5cm strips
- 5 sage leaves
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 0.5 white yellow onion, julienne
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 45 g butter, divided
- Salt and pepper tt
START COOKING
Melt 30g of butter in a large skillet on medium low heat. Sauté onions with garlic and brown sugar until soft and golden brown.
Add portabello, sage, season with salt and pepper. Saute for 5 minutes longer.
Cook ravioli according to packaging instructions
Strain ravioli and gently toss with the sauce. Cook for 1 minute longer.
Remove pan from the stove and fold in 15g of cold butter. Gently stir until butter is melted.
